Article: Sketch Tool

Sketch is a type of inline assessment which can be evaluated by your instructor or added to your lab report.

Sketch can also be a prerequisite for completing a step.

The layout of the sketch tool is similar to other drawing tools, with the toolbox on the left. Let’s demonstrate drawing a circuit. First, choose the Line tool and the stroke thickness can be changed at the top bar. Click the stroke color box to change color of the line. Next, choose the Ellipse tool and the fill of the shape can be changed by using the fill color box. The first slider changes the transparency and the second slider changes saturation of the color. The fill can be removed by setting the transparency zero. The Pan tool can be used to move the canvas after zooming in. Finally, use the Text tool to type and use the top bar to change text properties.
