To add a Short Answer assessment question to a step, first you need to click Add Item at the bottom of the step you want to add the question to. This creates a new item in the module step. For the item type, select Inline Assessment from the dropdown menu. Next
Then, select Short Answer from the Question Type dropdown menu. Add your question to the Question and the Answer in the text boxes provided.
Note: Short answer assessments are automatically marked by Thinkscape, the student must answer exactly as the answer is entered into the Answer text box.
