To add a video to a step, first click Add Item at the bottom of the step window. In the new Item that appears, select Video as the Item Type. You can upload the video either as a file from your computer or as a URL from YouTube. To upload a file, select Video File.To upload a video from your computer, lick on the Cross Arrow cursor button and drag the video into the “Drop files to Upload” box.
To upload a video from YouTube, get the code to embed the video by clicking Share. Then embed on the YouTube webpage, and copy the highlighted code. Then, on the LabMS webpage, create a new content item or click on an existing item and then click the Source button and paste the code in the textbox. You can also adjust the width and the height by changing the numbers following the “width” and “height” text in the code.
Click the Source button again to preview how the video looks in the step. When you are satisfied, click “Done” to the click Choose and navigate to the file, if you have a text file repeat for this file.
To add a URL select Video URL and copy the URL into the text box.
Click Done to add the video and update the step.
